Maison Care
Warranties, Repairs And Service Care.
Maison Designers supports eligible pre-owned luxury purchases and service requests with clear warranty scope, documented care records, specialist repair routes and protected return handling.
Care after purchase
Luxury ownership should feel supported after delivery.
When you buy a pre-owned watch, jewel or bag, the important questions are simple: what is covered, who do I contact, how is the item reviewed, and how will it be returned safely?
Maison Designers keeps the process clear. Eligible items may be supported by remaining manufacturer coverage, a Maison limited warranty where expressly stated, or a paid service and repair route agreed for the item. Service notes, repair history and care records may also be connected to the Maison Digital Passport where available.
Clear warranty scope
Coverage depends on the item, category, product page, invoice, remaining manufacturer warranty and any Maison limited warranty expressly supplied with the order.
Specialist review
Watches, jewellery, bags and accessories require different review routes. Maison Designers may use category specialists, approved repair partners or manufacturer service channels where appropriate.
Documented service
Repair requests, inspection notes, quotes, completion records and return tracking can be retained so the item history remains organized.
Protected return handling
High-value service returns may require tracked, insured, signature-supported shipping, secure packaging and written return instructions.
Warranty framework
Coverage is explained by item and by service type.
The table below keeps the practical position clear without turning every service conversation into a contract. Mandatory rights for faulty, not-as-described or non-conforming goods are not removed.
| Area | Maison Designers position |
|---|---|
| Manufacturer warranty | If a valid manufacturer or OEM warranty remains, the item may need to be handled through the applicable manufacturer process, service centre or warranty route. |
| Maison limited warranty | Where expressly stated for an eligible item, Maison Designers may provide a limited warranty for the stated period and scope shown on the product page, invoice, certificate or written order record. |
| What may be covered | Covered matters depend on the written warranty scope. For watches, this may relate to mechanical performance or covered components. For other categories, support depends on the agreed service or warranty terms. |
| What is not covered | Wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, water damage, impact, loss, theft, unauthorized repair, alteration, polishing, resizing, third-party opening, consumables, straps, batteries or external damage are normally outside limited warranty scope unless expressly agreed. |
| Paid repair or care services | Cleaning, polishing, sizing, restoration, gem setting, servicing, repair, inspection or care work may be quoted and agreed as a separate service before work begins. |
| Timeframes | Service timing depends on item category, parts availability, specialist review, manufacturer route, international shipping, customs and approval of any quote. |
Service process
From first contact to protected return.
Contact Maison
Send the order reference, photographs, description of the concern and any documents or service history available.
Preliminary review
Maison Designers reviews the request and confirms whether the next step is warranty review, paid service quote, manufacturer route or further evidence.
Quote or authorization
If work is outside warranty or requires a separate service, Maison provides the available quote or written approval route before work begins.
Service and documentation
Approved work is recorded with relevant notes, partner input, completion status and any available care documentation.
Secure return
Once complete, the item is prepared for tracked return with appropriate delivery controls for the value, category and destination.
Category care
Different luxury pieces need different specialists.
Watch service
Mechanical review, timing concern, movement service, bracelet or strap review and manufacturer route where appropriate.
Jewellery repair
Sizing, clasp repair, stone setting, prong check, pearl or bead restringing, rhodium, polishing and restoration may be reviewed by specialist jewellers.
Bag and accessory care
Hardware, stitching, structure, leather condition, handle wear and specialist care routes may be reviewed case by case.
Passport service history
Where available, completed care, repair, cleaning, polishing or inspection notes may be attached to the item record or Digital Passport.
Responsible limits
Support is strongest when the item is protected.
Clients should stop using the item once a fault, damage or authenticity concern is noticed, keep all packaging and documents, avoid unauthorized repair or alteration, and contact Maison Designers before sending the item anywhere. This helps preserve the evidence needed for warranty review, repair assessment, courier claims or manufacturer support.
