This privacy notice explains how Maison Designers handles personal data for browsing, accounts, purchases, payment review, authentication, Digital Passport issuance, support, returns, disputes and AML/KYC checks.
1. Controller
MAISON ENTERPRISE LTD, Company No. 16328140, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom, is responsible for personal data processed through Maison Designers unless another controller is identified for a specific service.
2. Data we collect
We may collect identity, contact, billing, delivery, account, order, payment confirmation, product interest, support, return, dispute, fraud-prevention, device, IP, cookie and Digital Passport data. For high-value or higher-risk activity we may collect identity documents, address evidence, beneficial ownership, sanctions screening and source-of-funds or source-of-wealth material.
3. Why we use data
We use data to operate the site, manage accounts, process orders, verify payments, prevent fraud, perform authentication records, arrange delivery, handle returns, respond to refused delivery, customs issues and disputes, issue or manage Digital Passports, meet legal obligations and improve service quality.
4. Payment and dispute data
Payment processors, card networks, acquirers, issuers, banks, wallet providers, fraud-prevention vendors and checkout providers may receive data necessary to authorize payments, complete review, prevent abuse, respond to chargebacks or handle refunds. Full card details are handled by the relevant provider and are not stored directly by Maison Designers.
5. Evidence retention
Maison Designers may retain order, product, payment, delivery, customs, return, support, authentication, Digital Passport and KYC evidence for accounting, compliance, fraud prevention, dispute handling, insurance, legal claims and provider obligations. Retention should be proportionate to the purpose and legal limitation periods.
6. Fraud prevention and lawful sharing
Where necessary and lawful, Maison Designers may share relevant evidence with payment providers, card networks, acquirers, issuers, banks, wallet providers, logistics partners, customs brokers, insurers, fraud-prevention services, professional advisers, law enforcement or regulators. Data shared should be limited to what is needed for the specific purpose.
7. Digital Passport data
The Digital Passport may include product and authentication metadata such as item name, brand, model, condition, authentication date, images, item identifier, provisional status and ownership status. Personal data included in public or permanent records should be minimized and reviewed before final issuance or assignment.
8. Lawful bases
Depending on the activity, Maison Designers may process data for contract performance, pre-contractual steps, legal obligations, fraud prevention, legitimate interests, establishment or defence of legal claims, consent for optional marketing or non-essential cookies, and other lawful bases available under applicable data protection law.
9. International transfers and processors
Data may be processed in the United Kingdom, EEA or other countries where service providers operate. Appropriate transfer and processor arrangements should be used where required by law.
10. Rights and contact

11. Compliance maintenance
Maison Designers keeps privacy, retention, cookie, Digital Passport metadata and fraud-prevention sharing practices under periodic operational and compliance review.
