Buying a pre-owned jewel, watch or bag online should feel clear, supported and safe.

We understand what it means to choose a luxury piece online, especially when it is pre-owned. You want to know that the item is authentic, that its condition has been described honestly, that it will be handled carefully, and that support is available if something does not feel right.

That is why Maison Designers documents the order journey carefully.

Before dispatch, eligible pieces are reviewed, recorded and prepared with attention to their category, condition and authenticity profile. During delivery, high-value orders are handled through tracked shipping processes, with appropriate delivery controls for the item and destination. After purchase, our team remains available to review genuine concerns and guide you through the correct support or returns process.

We keep these records not to make the experience complicated, but to make it clearer, faster and more reliable if you ever need our help.

Documented purchase

Order, payment, product, condition, inclusion, delivery, customs, return and support records may be retained so genuine issues can be resolved and unsupported disputes can be answered accurately.

Product evidence

The product page, images, condition notes, inclusions and available identifiers form part of the item description at the time of purchase.

Delivery controls

High-value orders may require tracked, insured, signature, adult ID or specialist delivery. Unsupported destinations, freight forwarders, hotels, PO boxes or temporary addresses may be declined.

Return controls

Returned items are inspected against the original item record, identifiers, tags, seals, packaging, inclusions, condition and return authorization.

Digital Passport

Eligible records remain provisional, reserved or withheld until payment, delivery, compliance, return and dispute status allow final issuance or assignment.

Delivery refusal

Clients must contact support before refusing, abandoning or rerouting a parcel. Refusal, non-collection or customs non-cooperation can create return, insurance, courier, storage and customs costs.

The section below explains how Maison Designers handles common situations in practical terms. Some wording is formal because it supports clear procedures and payment-dispute evidence, but the principle is simple: when there is a genuine issue, we review it carefully and work to resolve it properly.

Dispute scenarios

How Maison Designers handles common claims.

This does not remove mandatory consumer or payment-dispute rights. It explains the evidence Maison Designers may use to resolve or respond to a case.

FAQ

Buyer protection questions.

What if a concierge, reception or third party signs for delivery?

Where delivery is made to the verified address and signed or accepted by a concierge, building reception, mailroom or authorized recipient, Maison Designers will review the courier record and any delivery instructions before deciding the next step.

What if I refuse delivery, miss collection or stop responding?

Contact support before refusing, abandoning or rerouting delivery. If the parcel is already in transit, refusal, non-collection, customs non-cooperation or silence after reasonable delivery requests is not the same as following the return process. Maison Designers may preserve courier and customs evidence, send written case notices, wait for the item to return and inspect it before calculating any refund due. Documented return-to-sender, insurance, courier, storage, customs, clearance, re-import and agreed service costs may be taken into account where permitted by applicable law.

Will I always receive a full refund if I cancel after dispatch?

Mandatory consumer rights are preserved. However, a final refund may wait until the item returns and is inspected. Standard delivery is refunded where required by law, but premium delivery, return shipping, refused-delivery costs, customs costs and separately agreed services may be treated differently where lawful and properly disclosed.

Can payment disputes still be used?

Yes. Mandatory payment-dispute rights are not removed. Maison Designers may challenge unsupported, duplicate or abusive disputes with order, product, delivery, return, customs and authentication evidence.

Can fraud or return abuse be reported?

Where lawful and proportionate, Maison Designers may share evidence with payment providers, card networks, insurers, logistics partners, fraud-prevention services, professional advisers or authorities.
