Secure checkout

Pay Securely, With Clear Review Before Dispatch.

Maison Designers supports selected secure payment methods for authenticated pre-owned luxury. For high-value watches, jewellery, bags and accessories, payment and order details may be reviewed before dispatch so the buyer, the seller, the payment route and the item itself are protected.

Buying a high-value luxury piece online should feel secure, clear and supported.

Maison Designers offers selected payment methods depending on the item, country, order value and risk review. Payment checks are not designed to make checkout difficult; they help us confirm that the order, payer details, delivery route and item release conditions are aligned before a valuable piece is shipped.

How payment works

From checkout to cleared release.

01

Choose your payment method

Available options may include card, bank transfer, local payment methods or other supported routes shown at checkout or confirmed by Maison support.

02

Maison receives or reviews the payment

Card authorization, bank transfer confirmation or provider approval may be checked before the order is released.

03

The order is matched and prepared

Maison verifies the order reference, payer details, delivery information and any high-value checks required for the item.

04

Dispatch follows cleared release

Once payment and order review are complete, the item can move to preparation, dispatch and tracking.

The sections below explain the payment rules that may apply to high-value luxury orders. Some wording is formal because it supports secure payment handling, fraud prevention and provider requirements, but the principle is simple: payment must be received, matched and cleared before an item is released.

Accepted payment options

Available methods depend on value, country, currency and risk review.

Payment methods may include cards, manual bank transfer, Pay by Bank or online banking where available, and selected local methods or wallets. The active checkout and Maison Designers support confirmation determine what can be used for a specific order.

Payment topic Maison Designers position
Card authorization Card authorization, 3DS/SCA or provider approval may still be followed by manual review, cancellation or refund if risk, compliance, stock, insurance or seller checks fail.
Protected card route Card checkout for high-risk luxury categories may depend on provider chargeback-protection readiness, device/session evidence, risk status and item eligibility. Unsupported or unapproved card routes may be removed.
Third-party payer Payments from a person or business that does not match the buyer, billing profile or approved KYC record may be rejected or refunded.
Billing and shipping mismatch Maison Designers may request verification, ship only to an approved address, or decline unsupported destinations including freight forwarders, hotels, temporary addresses and PO boxes.
Bank transfer Orders are not released until funds are received, matched, cleared and reviewed. The payment reference must be used.
Currency, issuer and processing costs Issuer charges, wallet fees, foreign exchange differences, bank fees, customs charges, taxes and non-recoverable processing costs may be outside Maison Designers’ control unless mandatory law says otherwise.

Refunds, services and payment-related costs

Clear calculations if a refund is needed.

If a refund is required, Maison Designers reviews the order carefully and explains the calculation clearly. The amount may depend on the payment method, delivery option, destination, item condition, and any services already requested, started or completed for the order.

Consumer rights are always respected. Where costs are considered, they are based on the applicable law, the order record and documented third-party or service costs rather than blanket charges.

Cost type Possible treatment
Standard delivery Refunded where required for an eligible consumer cancellation.
Premium, express, insured or specialist delivery Only the standard delivery amount may be refundable for eligible consumer cancellation where the client selected a more expensive option, unless mandatory law requires more.
Return shipping and insurance The client may be responsible for return shipping and insurance where this was disclosed and lawful. High-value returns must be tracked, insured and signature-supported.
Refused delivery or non-collection Documented return-to-sender, courier, insurance, storage, customs, clearance and re-import costs caused by refusal, non-collection or customs non-cooperation may be deducted or recovered where permitted by applicable law.
Authentication or other paid services Started or completed service charges may be non-refundable or partly deductible only where the legal requirements for disclosure, express request and scope are satisfied.
Cleaning, preparation, resizing or restoration Routine internal preparation is not treated as a consumer penalty. Separately agreed cleaning, servicing, polishing, resizing, engraving, restoration, sourcing or custom work may be treated as a service or custom-order cost where clearly disclosed and lawful.
Customs, duties, brokerage and clearance Handled according to the destination rules, courier process and mandatory law. Refused customs, unpaid duties or re-import costs may be considered where lawful.
Payment processing and marketplace costs Consumer refunds are not reduced by arbitrary processing or cancellation fees. B2B, seller, reseller or marketplace commission treatment may differ under applicable commercial terms.

High-value order checks

Fulfilment follows cleared funds and order acceptance.

KYC and source of funds

High-value, unusual, cross-border, auction, reseller or third-party-payment orders may require identity, sanctions, source-of-funds or business verification before release.

Insurance route

Maison Designers may refuse shipment where no suitable carrier, insurance, signature, customs or delivery route is available for the item and destination.

Provider holds

Payment-provider holds, fraud reviews, chargeback alerts, bank reversals or settlement issues may pause shipment, refund, seller payout or Digital Passport finalization.
